Hello! My name is Melissa.
I have been in love with clothing, fabrics and materials since I was a teenager. For more than 10 years my professional life has been tied to fashion: I worked for years in fashion retail in Kyiv, collaborated with Ukrainian brands and know this industry from the inside.
When I moved to Istanbul I found myself at the very heart of the textile industry and saw how many opportunities Turkey can offer Ukrainian brands. That is how Meliation came about — a way to stay close to the world I love and at the same time become a bridge between Ukrainian brands and Turkish manufacturing.
Today I live in Istanbul, speak fluent Turkish and work personally with fabrics, suppliers and factories. I can see a material in person, check a sample, visit the factory or step in quickly if something goes wrong.
